WHO IS NATHAN?
The Boy at the Centre of the Trouble
Nathan Cross is Ruby Mason's wrestling training partner. During a training session, he claims Ruby used too much force while pinning him and hurt his shoulder.
The complaint is serious enough for Ruby to be suspended while the incident is investigated. For Jake, that makes Nathan much more than another pupil at school—he becomes the person standing between Ruby and the chance to clear her name.
What really happened during the training session becomes an important question. Jake and Jack begin looking beyond the accusation, trying to discover whether everyone has heard the whole story.
